Conditions
Employers new to the VET system, please contact the School-Based Traineeship/Apprenticeship Development Officer or an Australian Apprenticeship Centre (AAC). Employers who have employed trainees and apprentices before contact their Australian Apprenticeship Centre (AAC). Employment Details: Minimum hours of employment per week (40 weeks in school year) - 8 Total minimum hours of employment per year (term and holidays) - 720 Training Details: Minimum annual nominal hours of training - 125 Minimum annual hours of TCE study - 475 The nominal duration is calculated individually based on the year the student commences the school-based traineeship.
