• Qualification Replaced This qualification has been replaced and was originally to be discontinued on 12 November 2021. The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) recently agreed to extend the transition period of 20 qualifications (including this qualification) until 10 December 2022. The decision was made following a request from training providers with the support of PwC’s Skills for Australia in their role as the Skills Service Organisation for the AUR Automotive Retail, Service and Repair Training Package training package. This extension is granted to all registered training organisations (RTOs) delivering qualifications to. The decision extends the transition period for these RTOs to continue training, assessment, and issue Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) certification. The qualifications will remain on relevant RTOs scope of registration until the end of the extended transition period, unless withdrawn from scope prior.
