48 - First year building apprentices who hold a Certificate II in Construction (CPC20112) (or equivalent) or Certificate II in Construction Pathways (CPC20211) (or equivalent) are eligible for 6 months credit for this qualification.

Notes
This qualification was deleted from the CPC08 training package on 15 Feb 2021. The qualification will be discontinued on 15 Feb 2023 as required by the Standards for RTOs 2015 Chapter 4, clause 1.26 which states the RTO must ensure that all training, assessment and issuance of certification is completed within two years of the date the qualification was removed. RTOs must not allow a new student to commence training or assessment from the date a qualification is removed or deleted from the national register.

Nominal Term
The nominal term of an apprenticeship/traineeship qualification is used to determine the nominal term of a training contract. The nominal term of a training contract will alter depending upon the training contract mode (full-time, part-time, school-based), any time credit applied for recommencing apprentices/trainees and the attainment of competency under competency-based completion requirements.
