Notes
This qualification has been replaced by ACM40818 Certificate IV in Farriery and was discontinued effective 30 June 2021. On 9 October 2019, Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) Commissioners agreed to extend the transition period of the ACM30517 Certificate III in Farriery until 30 June 2021 (from original discontinuation date of 11 Dec 2019). ASQA made the decision following a request from a registered training organisation (RTO), with the support of Skills Impact in their role as the Skills Service Organisation for the ACM Animal Care and Management Training Package. This extension will be granted to all RTOs delivering the qualification to current learners. The decision extends the transition period for these RTOs to complete the training, assessment and Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) certification issuance. The ACM30517 Certificate III in Farriery will remain on the relevant RTOs’ scope of registration until the end of the extended transition period. ASQA will publish this decision on its website and notify all affected RTOs. If you have any questions about this decision, please contact transitionrequest@asqa.gov.au
