• Duration in months, based on full-time employment 24
• Available Part-time Yes - the following conditions apply:
  
  • The minimum number of hours of employment is 15 per week unless otherwise agreed by TTAC;
  • The maximum term of the training contract is no more than twice the nominal full time duration for the qualification;
  • The minimum term is no less that one and a half times the nominal full time duration for the qualification;
  • Industrial arrangements must allow for part-time employment.
• Notes This qualification was replaced by BSB40120 on 19 Oct 2020. On 20 October 2020, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) Deputy Chief Commissioner agreed to extend the transition period of the superseded qualifications and superseded and deleted units of competency from BSB Business Services Training Package Release 6.1 until 19 April 2022. A list of the affected training products is attached and can be found on ASQA’s website. The decision was made following a request from the Business Services Industry Reference Council via PwC’s Skills for Australia in their role as the Skills Service Organisation for the Business Services Training Package. PwC’s Skills for Australia has developed support materials including an Interpretation Manual and videos to assist RTOs in transitioning to the updated training package. ASQA has also published information on the changes and guidance on BSB units in non-BSB qualifications. The relevant training products will remain on RTOs scope of registration until the end of the extended transition period, unless withdrawn from scope prior.
