• Duration in months, based on full-time employment 48
• Available Part-time Yes - the following conditions apply:
  
  • The minimum number of hours of employment is 15 per week unless otherwise agreed by TTAC;
  • The maximum term of the training contract is no more than twice the nominal full time duration for the qualification;
  • The minimum term is no less that one and a half times the nominal full time duration for the qualification;
  • Industrial arrangements must allow for part-time employment.
• Notes This qualification was discontinued effective 8/12/2017 ( 2 years from the training package update as required by the ASQA Standards for RTOs clause 1.26). This has occurred as when the new CHC training package was released in December 2015 it was determined the outcome of this qualification can now be achieved through elective choices in the Diploma of Mental Health and/or the Diploma of Alcohol and Other Drugs. Industry acknowledged there was assimilation between the alcohol and other drugs (AOD) sector and the mental health sector with a portion of the workforce operating across both these sectors (see p.35 of the CHC V3 implementation guide December 2015).
  All apprenticeships/traineeships must comply with TTAC Policies and Guidelines
